Working ranch attire is appropriate. A Stetson for adults as head gear. Helmets for all other Youth Ranch classes is mandatory for youth 18 years and younger. A Stetson may be worn by youth turning 18 in the competing year. Long sleeve collared shirt, bootleg jeans and western boots. Chaps or chinks are acceptable but not required. Scarfs or “wild rags”, ties, bolo ties and cloves are acceptable. Too much “Bling” (sequins, rhinestones) is discouraged but not illegal."
